3 Question Blog 2/9/18 1. I have completed little within the past 2 weeks. I haven't been looking over much stuff as needed, but I promised myself to start to stay on top of this subject. Its important, especially since I'm going to school for nursing. That being said, I have gotten caught up on everything needed, as well as taking the first set of notes for the nervous system and starting on the glog. 2. I have learned about the sodium/potassium pump, going into detail about what the stimulus is, why a charge change is created throughout the process, and where the action potential comes from. I have also learned that we are able to study simple complex species and be able to apply it to human beings, since their bodies tend to follow complex rules like our own bodies do as well. 3. I want to establish an agenda for myself, a good system of organization. That way, i can keep myself informed on things I need to do, so I wont fall behind and I keep my studies on track. I wa
3 Question Blog #5 1. I have accomplished little these past 2 weeks. I wasn’t able to really sit down and be able to discuss what I missed earlier this week, but I was able to get a start on the foldable that I missed on. 2. I have learned a bit of information which I never knew before. I didn’t know that when action potential and energy flows to a neuron, that the charges will switch , allowing sodium and potassium to flow freely in and out of the neuron, until concentration levels level out. 3. I am having trouble with trying to catch up a little on things, especially since I missed out on notes Too as well. I will need to go back through , get caught up, and really try to get my head back in game, and try to reconnect everything again
3 Question Blog #4 1. I have accomplished a great deal within the past week or so. I recently took my integumentary test, and I believe I scored fairly well. At the end of the unit, I had a very deep understanding of the layers of the skin and how each functions to protect deeper tissues. I had never knew that there were deeper layers of skin, etc. and how there are connective tissues, etc that protect things like sensory glands, etc. 2. I have learned a lot within the past day or so learning about the axis skeletal system. I’m completely amazed with the different types of bones and how each works, etc. I knew that there were certain parts of the spine, etc, but I didn’t know what function of each was. I also didn’t know there were that many parts to the skeleton and how there are more depending on the view you have of the skull. 3. The only thing I’m still having trouble with is parts of the spine. We reviewed the C1-C7 in class but I’m stilk having a hard time learning about whic
3 Question Blog #2 1. I am very happy with the accomplishments I have made recently. I was able to finally take the time and catch up on all the flip notes, etc for this anatomy class. Additionally, I was able to really sit down and take the time to really digest and understand most of the most recent concepts. I have also gotten better at turning in work in a more timely manner to get full credit for said assignments. 2. I have learned a whole deal recently and I am very excited. I am able to do certain things in my daily life and be able to understand or link back to many body functions. One of the biggest thing I've leaned recently is Homeostasis. Homeostasis is pretty much the regulation of body functions, such as body temperature, etc. I was able to understand how certain situations can be linked to either positive or negative feedback, as well as to understand which process in said situations are the response and the stimulus, which can get tricky depending on what's g
